December of Joy

  1. Seek the Lord, He will answer you and deliver you from all your fears. He is God of miracle who can turn our burdens into blessings. Seek the Almighty and His righteousness!
  2. Integrity leads to blessing, not only to ourselves, but also to our children, the future generations.
  3. The Lord Jehovah God is our Protector, Comforter, Healer, Provider who can always be trusted at all times.
  4. Christ’s believers reflect the glory of God and experience transformation by the Spirit of God into the same image (likeness) of Christ.
  5. Receiving and believing Jesus Christ gives us power to become the children of God. Christians are to be like Christ, not only in the character, but also in the courage and capability.
  6. Salvation of all mankind is only possible by the work of the innocent and infinite man of God, Jesus Christ. He is appointed by God to save His people from sin and death.
  7. Jesus Christ is called Immanuel, which means God is with us. He is God incarnate who lives in and among us, to show us the true meaning of life and love.
  8. Since we put our faith in Christ, we live under God’s grace, which enables us to please Him out of love, not law. Grace triumphs over sin.
  9. Hope for eternal life can exclusively be found in Jesus Christ, who has overcome the death. He is alive, so whosoever believes in Him shall live.
  10. Praying to God brings comfort to our spirit, while praising God brings cheer to our soul.
  11. Jesus Christ is the reason for this Christmas season. He is the long awaited Messiah, the only begotten Son of God, who saves humanity from sin and separation from God.
  12. Forgiving others is not a suggestion—it is an instruction, which must be done. We all make a mistake and need forgiveness from the Lord. Forgiveness and repentance will lead to healing and restoration.
  13. God knew you before you were born. He has a great, unique purpose for you. By His grace and power, you can fulfill your potential and bring life-changing impact to other people’s lives.
  14. Christ’s believers are God’s chosen people and special possession, redeemed and sanctified by His blood, and called out of darkness into His marvelous light to declare His mighty works and represent His kingdom.
  15. The highest standard of living is to imitate God the Almighty by following Christ’s example—that is to walk in love and live a selfless life.
  16. Knowing God’s will means knowing the purpose of our life.
  17. By God’s grace in Christ Jesus, our momentary sufferings in this life will bring glory to Him as we experience restoration and transformation through the work of the Holy Spirit.
  18. The Lord is the ultimate source of wisdom and truth (He is my light) and protection and victory (He is my salvation). Trust in the Lord and do not fear.
  19. The redemptive work of Jesus Christ reveals that there is glory after suffering, resurrection after crucifixion, and the empty tomb after the cross. Since Christ is the pioneer and perfecter of faith, those who trust in Him will not be ashamed.
  20. Joy comes from the Lord. He is a loving God and His favor lasts a lifetime. There is never a moment when God is not loving—even God’s anger is a holy expression of His love.
  21. The name of Jesus means “Savior” and the word “Hosanna” in Hebrew means “Save, Rescue, Savior.” When people met Him, they cried out “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.”
  22. Hard-work without a restful heart in the Lord is futile. God is our ultimate Provider and He alone can give us true peace and rest that cast out our fears and anxieties.
  23. The presence of the Lord gives us wisdom, joy, peace, and strength. Let us be aware of God’s presence every day in our lives and take delight in Him. Let His kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
  24. In this Christmas season, let us remember that God, the Life Giver, has given everything we need to live a meaningful life. Thank God for every gift He has given us.
  25. Our physical wellness depends strongly on our emotional and spiritual conditions. As we meditate on God’s words, our soul and spirit are nourished, and that’s how we can flourish.
  26. Human understanding is flawed and limited. That’s why we need to seek God’s wisdom daily. As we grow in knowing Him, we will grow in loving Him. The knowledge and love of God is limitless and flawless—as we worship Him, we receive His wisdom and we are transformed by the power of His love.
  27. God’s laws are perfect and His instructions give us life. We can always trust God’s words, the source of wisdom.
  28. Remember that you are not alone in your struggles. Surrender your life to God because He cares for you. He loves you more than you could think or feel.
  29. In Christ, we can have a new life as we become a new creation. The moment we receive Him, the transforming work of God’s Spirit is activated. What a wonderful blessing we have! Old things have gone: no more guilt, no more shame, no more regret, no more condemnation for those who are in Christ!
  30. Renewal and revival is only possible by the supernatural work of the Creator. The Almighty is able to make a way where there seems to be no way. He can give hope amidst despair, joy amidst sorrow, and peace amidst tribulation.
  31. God alone can make all things new. He can renew our hearts and our strength. One day He will renew heaven and earth where we will live forever with Him in His kingdom, in everlasting peace and joy.
